The Arabic Mandarin Academy is excited to offer online Arabic classes for non-Arabic speaking students in China in particular and other learners in general.  Our mission is to provide high-quality fun and interactive Arabic classes to help students practice their language skills, emphasizing listening and speaking. 

We are looking for Arabic-speaking tutors to provide one-on-one or small group tutoring (4 to 8 students in each class) for those who are interested in practicing their Arabic language skills through a fun theme-based class module. Tutors are hired as independent contractors. Based on their experience, the hourly pay will be decided. Specific class hours and course schedules will be determined later once you are hired. 

Responsibilities:

• Improve students’ Arabic fluency through fun, interesting conversations using online platforms. 

• Provide students with high-quality teaching and learning materials, and resources.

• Provide students with a high-quality teaching and learning experience based on the course delivery plan.

• Communicate with students via google classroom and follow up on their homework. 

• Evaluate students’ progress and keep a record of their performance. 

 

Requirements

• Fluent Arabic speaker.

• Strong English speaking and writing skills.

• Patient, kind, energetic, and fun. Tutors need to engage with students and make learning enjoyable online.

• Willing and able to commit to one semester of working with The Arabic Mandarin Academy.

• Passion for the Arab language and culture.

• Prior tutoring experience (online or in-person) or 1 year of experience teaching children in a classroom setting.
